Happiness comes from creative efforts. The joy of dreaming, creating and expressing your thoughts by drawing and painting is unparalled. The famous painter Pablo Picasso said, “Every child is an artist”. Keeping this in mind and to explore the creative potentials in the young minds of our children, theSKYworldschool is organizing ‘Rang De-2016’ an Inter School Painting Competition on November 26, 2016 and Rangoli Competition on November 27, 2016 at our school premises. We firmly believe that art is a natural means of communication and learning for children. It is important for them to look at and respond to a piece of work by artists and their illustrations. To provide them an opportunity and to raise the bar of school art competitions, we are organizing a workshop with fifteen known artists of the region who will be engaged in live painting on November 26th-27th, 2016 on the theme of Indian Values & Heritage. Students will have an opportunity to interact with the renowned artists and learn the techniques to give creative expression to their ideas. The participants will have hands-on authentic learning experience with Rangoli making artists. Sanskar Bharti and Haryana Kala Parishad are collaborating with us in this event. This event will be a rare opportunity for the budding artists of the tricity to have such an exposure.
