Children will make mistakes. Younger Children will make small mistakes and elder children will make bigger mistakes.  How the parents and teachers should respond when we discover the child shares the mistake he/she has done. Normal reaction is anger, shock, hurt or pain. All these are negative emotions. The child already has the emotions of fear or guilt. Our reaction would add to his fear and guilt. That is the moment when he deserves healing and love the most. We must accept and try to understand the child at that point till his fear, guilt or hurt is healed and then guide and advice.  This would strengthen the bond of love and trust, and children will always share with you instead of hiding from you.
