Scientists say adult human beings  use 10 – 15 % of their brain. They also say 40 – 50 % of their latent spark dies as they grow from childhood to maturity. What wonders would they make if the other 85 – 90 % of their brain and 50 –  60 % of their latent spark remains active and alive throughout life. It leads to the fact that the school leaning system is responsible to keep their latent spark ignited, nourished and nurtured as the child grows from childhood to maturity during his 15 years in the school. It is possible through current pedagogical practices like guided activity, inquiry based discovery methods, flipped classrooms based on multiple intelligences and experiential learning. It would be ironic if in spite of the current international research in education and tools and techniques available, we fail our young to use 100 % of their brain and realize their full latent potential.
