A Place Where They Play...

Sports offer every child an equal chance to shine. Many of life’s most important lessons are learned on the field, from teamwork and discipline to resilience and emotional control. Sports also give children a healthy way to channel their energy and build confidence.
At Sky World School, physical education is an essential part of our curriculum and every student is encouraged to participate. Children can choose from a wide range of games and activities including football, cricket, basketball, taekwondo, badminton, table tennis, athletics and yoga. Training is guided by qualified and experienced coaches who help students strengthen skills and sportsmanship.
Our young athletes frequently compete at district, state and national levels, bringing pride to the school. One of the most exciting highlights of the year is the Mini Olympics, a celebratory event that marks the culmination of a year of sports and friendly competition.
Our Sports Programs

CRICKET
Cricket holds a special place in our sports program. The school offers a spacious playground where students practice daily, play matches and prepare for tournaments. Our state-level players receive dedicated training and guidance from qualified coaches, helping them sharpen technique and build competitive confidence.

ATHLETICS

CHESS
Chess strengthens critical thinking and strategic decision-making while encouraging healthy competition, teamwork and self-reflection.

TABLE TENNIS
Table tennis builds speed, timing and coordination. With regular practice and guided training, students work toward refining their skills and performing confidently in competitions.

CARROM
Carrom builds focus, patience and precision. It teaches students to think ahead, plan their moves and stay composed under pressure. The game encourages healthy competition and provides a fun space for students to develop strategic thinking and fine motor skills.

BOXING
Sky World School offers professional boxing training under the guidance of a qualified and experienced coach. Our students have shown strong performance at state and national levels, demonstrating discipline, strength and competitive spirit.

BASKETBALL
Our basketball program is led by a coach with more than seven years of experience training students. Coaching is aligned with official and international standards, helping young players build solid fundamentals, teamwork and game awareness.

SKATING
With trained coaches, a well-maintained skating rink and regular competition exposure, students learn the sport at a competitive level and build the skills that help them excel, even at national platforms.

BADMINTON
Our badminton court meets standard playing dimensions, and coaching is focused on developing each student’s individual skills, technique and confidence on the court.



Why Sports Matter
Sports play an important role in a child’s overall growth. Beyond fitness and strength, they build discipline, teamwork, focus and resilience. When children train, compete and learn to handle wins and losses, they develop emotional control, confidence and a healthy mindset toward challenges. Sports also give students a positive outlet for energy and help them stay active in a world dominated by screens and sedentary routines.
At Sky World School, sports are viewed as a key part of holistic learning. The variety of games and physical activities offered here support multiple intelligences (MI skills) and help students discover their talent areas. For example:
• Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence through athletics, football, taekwondo, basketball, skating and boxing
• Interpersonal Intelligence through team sports where students learn communication, cooperation and sportsmanship
• Intrapersonal Intelligence as students learn self-awareness, self-control and goal setting
• Spatial Intelligence through sports like badminton, table tennis, chess and carrom where students visualize movement, angles and strategy
• Logical-Mathematical Intelligence in games that require quick calculations, planning and strategic thinking
• Naturalist Intelligence as students train outdoors and develop stamina, observation and adaptability
